About Grey Tesh I am Grey Tesh. I am married. We have a son. I sing and play guitar in a rock cover band. We perform about twice a month. I am a board certified criminal defense lawyer. I have two brothers who live in Georgia. I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida at Good Samaritan Hospital. I have also lived in North Carolina and Arizona. I moved in with my grandparents just after high school. I graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. While in Jacksonville, I performed with Derek Trucks (slide guitarist for the Allman Brothers Band), members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blue Oyster Cult and even opened for Molly Hatchet twice. I got my hair cut and went to law school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I booked (got the highest grade) constitutional criminal procedure, pre-trial practice and appellate brief writing. I was also on the American trial lawyers association traveling competition team, where we tried cases in front of mock juries. Also, I graduated with honors for pro bono service. I am proud to have started my career as an assistant public defender in West Palm Beach, Florida representing poor people accused of crimes. I have handled over 1,000 criminal cases and wake up each day looking forward to going into work.
While my practice is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, I can represent federal criminal clients nationwide. I can practice in any federal district court in the country. I also travel all over Florida representing clients in state criminal cases. I am the president-elect for the Florida association of criminal defense lawyers, Palm Beach chapter. Also, I am a former secretary and former director for the Florida association of criminal defense lawyers, Palm Beach chapter. I am chair of the criminal practice committee for the Palm Beach county bar association. I also write a blog called the Palm Beach criminal lawyer blog.
